Dr. Witta is an independent candidate dedicated to defending people's rights—free from party leadership, special-interest groups, corporations, and mega-donors that dominate our political and economic system.
His vision is to Restore Congress to one that fights for those who elected its representatives; to Reform the healthcare system to make it more affordable and reduce financial struggles; and to Respect the diversity that built America.
Biography

Official Portrait
The Velvet Revolution (1989): During his final year of medical school at Charles University in Prague, Dr. Witta was actively involved in the Velvet Revolution against communism. As he says: “As a student, I fought communism not for capitalism. I fought it for cultural, religious and social freedom.”
Medical Research: Received a Ph.D. in Genetics and while working at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland, discovered the first transcription factor that can convert a cell into a neuron.
Medical Practice: Completed internal medicine residency in Pennsylvania and oncology fellowship at the University of Colorado, where he identified effective drug combinations for cancer treatment.
Mountain Blue Cancer Care Center (2015): Founded the cancer care center in Denver, treating thousands of patients and witnessing how insurance premiums and pharmaceutical costs create severe hardships for those battling cancer.

All The Children of Light
Nonprofit providing education and aid to Syrian refugee and orphaned children—often risking his own safety to deliver help.
Youth Soccer Initiative
Nonprofit helping minority children in Colorado participate in soccer, giving them opportunities every child deserves.
Anthiogen (2018)
Raises funds to cover cancer patients' insurance premiums throughout Colorado.
Empower Her Color (2020)
