About Dr. Witta
A lifetime of service, a commitment to change.

A Message to My Neighbors and Across America
This is a time of our existence to come together. We start this movement from the heart of America. We are here for a new beginning.
Do not think the time has stopped. Do not think your struggle is here forever. Do not think hope vanishes and disappears.
I reach out to you with a simple message: America is divided over important core values, but irrelevant to the real struggles you face every day. I am here to empower your life.
My vision is to Restore the Congress to one that fights for those who elected its representatives; to Reform the health care system to make it more affordable, reduce your financial struggle and bring back the wealth of this country to your life; and to Respect the diversity that built America to empower women's needs, people's unique culture, faith, ethnicity, and equal justice and opportunities.
“I always fought for what is right.”

The Velvet Revolution
During his final year of medical school at Charles University in Prague, Dr. Witta was actively involved in the Velvet Revolution against communism. As he says: "As a student, I fought communism not for capitalism. I fought it for cultural, religious and social freedom. Today I fight corporate America not for socialism, but for your cultural, religious and social freedom and independence."
NIH Research & PhD in Genetics
Received a Ph.D. in Genetics. While working at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland, he discovered the first transcription factor that can convert a cell into a neuron.
Oncology Fellowship
Pursued an oncology fellowship at the University of Colorado. There, he identified an effective drug combination for cancer treatment and took part in numerous clinical trials.
Youth Soccer Initiative
When he saw the hardship minority children had in Colorado, he put together a nonprofit that helped kids participate in soccer, giving them opportunities that every child deserves.
Anthiogen
To alleviate the burdens cancer patients face, he created the nonprofit Anthiogen, which raises funds to cover cancer patients' insurance premiums throughout Colorado.
Mountain Blue Cancer Care Center
Founded the Mountain Blue Cancer Care Center in Denver, Colorado. Over the years he treated thousands of patients and saw how insurance premiums, out-of-pocket costs, and overly aggressive clinical trial designs create severe hardships for those battling cancer. He also observed that drug dosages and treatment durations are often inflated to boost pharmaceutical profits.
Patient Support Team
Developed a team to help hundreds of patients who could not afford treatment with their out-of-pocket expenses. Dr. Witta has also developed cost-effective therapies that reduce reliance on expensive pharmaceuticals.
All The Children of Light
When he witnessed the hardship children faced in refugee camps in Syria, he established All the Children of Light, a nonprofit that provided education and aid to Syrian refugee and orphaned children—often risking his own safety to deliver help.
Empower Her Color
Seeing the particular financial strain on single mothers, he founded Empower Her Color, a nonprofit that supports minority women facing healthcare, psychological, and social challenges.
Published 'Cancer Amongst Us'
Authored the book 'Cancer Amongst Us and the Rise of All the Children of Light', describing patients' struggles and exposing how financial interests—bankers, pharmaceutical firms, and insurers—dominate U.S. politics.
Running for Congress
Having studied political science and examined the influence of mega-donors, banks, and corporations on Congress, Dr. Witta decided to run for office so he can give ordinary people a true voice in government.
